Stars and galaxies
Warmth and light
----and harmony
Moments caught in time
----occasional rhyme
For thought and mind
For kindred
For the cycle of death and life
As a mouse to the grain, I am thankful.
I sing to Bast my praise.
Thanksgiving as it is celebrated may pertain only to a certain people in a certain place in time, but the practice of gratefulness spans space and years.
